~ Blurb ~

With the sudden, mysterious death of her father, Samantha discovers her life isn’t what it seems. Not only isn’t she the normal teenage girl she thought she was, Sam must now take her father’s place in the fight between two groups of fallen angels, the Faithful and the Exiled, in a race to save humanity. In addition to dealing with a devastating betrayal—and having feelings for someone she’s forbidden to love—Sam must also fight the growing darkness within her as she struggles to make a choice between fighting alongside the Faithful or succumbing to the temptation of the Exiled. Both sides require sacrifices Sam isn’t sure she can make.

~ Review ~

In a race to save humanity, fallen angels of both dark and light fight against each other.  Samantha is thrown into this world after her father dies and nothing will ever be the same for her again.  With so much being thrown at her in a short space of time, it’s hard for her to get her head together and the dark is just so much easier to follow.  It’s a very intriguing read, with a well thought out plot line and I loved the way the author managed to combine both dark and light within Samantha.  With the descriptive nature of the book and the use of flashbacks, no questions are left unanswered but leave you wanting so much more.  With plenty of action, adventure, betrayal, love and loss, this book will keep you gripped and turning page after page.
